Street lined with trees and modern buildings, parked cars on both sides, and a cloudy sky overhead.

The Township at Colony Park - Ridgeland, MS

Modern building with tall, narrow windows, glass and metal features, and landscaped greenery including trees and shrubs in front.
Sidewalk view of a restaurant called "Sombrero Mexican Kitchen" with outdoor seating, black umbrellas, classic street lamps, parked cars, green trees, and a bright blue sky.

I  started working on the Township in 2000 while working at Barranco Architecture, and I developed the Architectural Character for the town center area and neighborhood.  We designed all of the commercial buildings facing Highland Colony Parkway, and also The Club building at the end of Mainstreet.

At the time, we were casting a 20-25 year vision for the commercial area, and it’s been interesting and rewarding to be a part of a project that continues to grow and impact the Ridgeland area.  More so, though, it’s been fun to see a project adapt and change to the markets, and be a part of the solution to building design as we went.  Even though I’ve been part of several firms, I’ve personally continued to design in the Township.

I’m currently working in the Township on two key projects, like a class A office building on the lake, and two luxury condo buildings.

A shopping plaza with a parking lot filled with cars, green trees, and a pink building with a sign that reads "SouthShore." The sky is cloudy.
Modern interior with wooden stairs and glass walls, sunlight streaming through large windows.
A yellow building with a clock on its facade, fountains in front, trees on both sides, and parking lot behind.
